I couldn't resist. I borrowed my Dad's macro lens and took more sunflower shots. I so love the details!

This last week at the grocery store I saw some sunflowers and thought I just had to have them for a little spring cheer. A couple of days later I decided to snap some pictures of them because, well, I love these flowers. As I was uploading the pictures I got thinking that it must have been about a year ago that I last had sunflowers. Strangely enough, I found it was the exact same day one year earlier that I took the other pictures! It must be a March thing.

I was so lucky to have a dear friend of mine- who was my college freshman roommate, in fact- come stay with me for a week with her darling boy. We decided to snap some pictures of him- the last day they were here. He wasn't quite as smiley as he had been the whole week, but who can resist those big dark eyes? Adorable.

Yesterday I got to tag along with my best friend from high school, Haley, to do a photo shoot of an old friend's newborn. I think I've known Derek for about 20 years now, so it was so fun to meet his adorable new little girl. Haley and I have such different styles that it seems we did completely different shoots. Way Behind

I'm so far behind that these are from just after Christmas. I figured I should try to get caught up before our new little guy comes in a little over a month!

Some old friends were in town so we attempted a family photo shoot. It was cold, snowy, and bright, but they did great! They were awesome to photograph and adorable little Q lasted far longer than I expected.
