Tiny

Earlier this fall, my husband and in-laws gave me a macro lens for my birthday as a surprise.  These are a few of the first pictures from the lens.  Most of them are not very crisp, but I loved the colors anyway.  The little white flowers were tiny- only 2-3 mm across.  I should have used a tripod, but I had my 2 little ones jumping around and somehow it seemed unpractical at the time...  The orange/red background is just another flower in the bouquet.

Baby Dylan

Our very dear friends recently had their 3rd little boy.  I was thrilled to get to go see him!  It was hard for me to put him down so I could take pictures.  He fought sleep and we ran out of light at the end, but at least he did doze off a couple of times.  Darling!

Fall Beauty

As I'm posting these, I'm already longing for spring and color again.  It's always hard to go from such brilliant color to the whites and browns of Colorado winters.  I do love things about every season, and I love the colors and crisp weather of Fall. Our family went on our annual fall color expedition to Golden Gate Canyon State Park at the beginning of October.

It was perfect.
