My Boy

I know it's been forever since I've posted, so here's a little something that keeps me busy.

My brother and his wife were so kind as to let me and my dear friend Haley practice taking pictures of them. It was definitely a learning experience! Gary and Kim were wonderful models for us and endured our shoot in the bright mid-day sun (yes, we know that's a horrible time to take pictures, but that is when we could do it before the "blizzard" was supposed to roll in). Thanks Gary and Kim! It was fun.

Finally

We have been super busy and are still getting settled in our new house. Of course, it was then that I got the creative itch, but no time or energy to take pictures. A couple of days ago I was finally able to get out with my camera! My main subject (Z) wasn't very cooperative, but I did find this old stable that I had some fun with. I always get a little nostalgic about old farms. They remind me of my Grandpa and bring warm happy feelings.

Is it just me, or is this old wood and peeling paint beautiful???
